I joined Moolah based on a recommendation by a good friend, with the simple intention of understanding money and some aspects of investing. Thus began an astounding and an eye-opening journey! I was appalled at my lack of awareness and the sheer indifference and callousness I had towards money and its matters.
Most of us have a narrative regarding money which is deep rooted, influenced by all our impressions right from childhood. Our attitudes towards money matters largely depends on that. Mine was largely indifference. Slowly yet steadily I developed small habits and began taking accountability. I identified and learnt to break patterns and accept my insecurities. Most importantly I learnt to have structure and sensibility with money; whether it’s earning, spending, or investing. It wasn’t easy yet I felt completely supported by the Meeta and the entire Moolah tribe!
Meeta is extremely knowledgeable and insightful with all financial matters yet she’s patient, non-judgmental and very large hearted. Her zeal to educate and empower women is laudable and infectious. She has truly created a safe space for financial literacy!
I began late, nevertheless I’m extremely grateful I began and now I prod other woman around me to get on the program!
I want every woman to be financially aware and that in itself is empowering!
Moolah sessions have been interesting and enjoyable. The basic concepts were explained well and in a simplistic manner. Most importantly, it helped to allay the fear about financial planning. I feel motivated now to learn more about financial planning; thanks to Moolah.
I believe that knowledge is power. I believe that it is important to be a strong team player with your spouse in managing your home finances. I also believe that it is important to be financially independent.
I had been looking to simplify financial jargon for some time when I was told about Moolah. I liked the daily bite size posts at Moolah which I could read at leisure without getting stuck in the live class format.
Thanks to Meeta and the Moolah tribe, I was able to fill those knowledge gaps and increase my confidence.
Moolah helped me realize the importance of financial independence. It’s prepared me to enter the real world and taught me things I wish was taught to us in school! I’m proud to say that I now know how to manage my finances and am confident enough to investment, all because of Moolah and Mrs. Meeta Gupta!
Being a science major myself, I found Moolah’s 6-month course presented in a very simple format. I could easily understand the bite sized material sent every day. The flexibility to study at one’s own pace made it very convenient. I enjoy the Zoom Webinars being held at regular intervals on different topics like budgeting, investments, banking terminologies and many more. Looking forward to attending many more. Wishing all the Best to Moolah
Moolah has been one of the best learning experiences for me. I always felt a lack of financial knowledge in traditional curriculums at school, and I was unsure how I could set myself up for the best possible future financially. Thanks to Moolah’s bite sized, easy to understand content – my financial literacy grew, and I now feel confident and competent enough to take charge of my future.
Moolah came to me when I was starting afresh with a job after a gap of 5+ years. Two kids and a 5-year hiatus since the last job does dent one’s confidence. Moolah’s daily posts were for me like a kind friend, gently lifting me up, saying, “You’ve got this, girl.” After all these months, my understanding of money has increased tremendously, and I have only Moolah to thank for this.
Dear Meeta, I want to express my gratitude for the marvelous work you have done for our Moolah group. The expertise and command you have in finance field & passion and the knowledge you shared; that too with so much concern and dedication and in such interesting way, explaining it through short, cute stories was wonderful. I would highly recommend all to connect you who want to achieve better financial outcomes. Thank You
I became a part of the Moolah journey a few months after I turned 19.
Being financially literate is a prerequisite to serving the world but it isn’t taught at school. However, I was lucky enough to come across the lovely program offered by Meeta and has begun to change my life.
Before Moolah started making life easier for me, there were many basic finance-related questions that I was not able to find the answers to even after a deep internet dive, and now, not only do I have quick and easy information bites, but I also have a lovely mentor I can ask my questions to.
I have opened my own bank account and I have been solely in charge of it, I have been using Moolah learning to understand budgeting and saving which I think has greatly improved my financial balance, I realized how important all this is especially now that I am in college.
This is a very beneficial program I recommend to anyone with financial questions.
Before Moolah, for me money was only something that needs to be earned for a living, everything about investing seemed daunting and alien. With Moolah I have gained the confidence of handling money. Investments, Taxes, Budgeting everything has become easy to understand and within reach. Moolah has opened-up my mind and has helped me see money with a positive attitude.
Females have empowered themselves financially today in the household. She earns well and contributes at par with her spouse, at times more also. But, when the question comes of major financial decisions, it’s still mostly the males in the family. The woman herself at times steps back as she is under-confident.
It’s high time to break this notion as we have been exploited enough by shaking our confidence by Indian society finances. Males often take full advantage of the under-confidence and mis-guide at times.
Here Meeta and her Moolah step up! Her years of experience in finance, and exclusive girls only service gives us our direction and confidence to spread our wings and fly in the new horizon to maintain the wealth which we have made by our capabilities!
Thanks Moolah to be present for us and to diminish any of our doubts.
Moolah, you are much needed …deeply needed till the time our Indian society breaks away the shackles of the mindset -women being second grade in managing Finances!
Moolah is such a simple yet powerful medium to learn everything that there is about money. It gave me the confidence to take money matters in my own hands, and I’m now passing on the baton to the women in my family and friends. I strongly recommend Moolah to anyone who wants to become financially independent, gain confidence to manage their own finances, or even just refresh their knowledge of money matters. It just takes a minute!
Just when I was pondering on how I could enhance my knowledge of my personal finances and share the responsibility of securing our future, an angel came into my life in the form of Meeta. She introduced me to Moolah, a WhatsApp group where she would share simple and to the point explanations with brilliant examples for anything and everything finance. Since she started from the very basics, I could share many of these daily doses even with my 9-year-old daughter thereby introducing her to some basic terms early on. I can confidently say that in the 6 months of Moolah posts, my knowledge and awareness has definitely soared. Meeta’s passion and dedication for empowering women to be in charge of their own finances is commendable. Thank you for being you, Meeta.
